Chicago: Memorial for Ruth L. Ratny Planned

When building a blog about the film industry, having people one can rely on for accurate and timely information is critical.  Ruth L. Ratny was one of those people.  As founder of Reel Chicago, she was the go to source for topical, provocative and interesting stories about the film industry in the midwest.  She was also a funny and lovely person who will be greatly missed by the thousands of those whose lives she touched and enriched. A memorial celebration honoring the life of Reel Chicago founder Ruth L. Ratny will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Untitled Supper Club in River North, 111 W. Kinzie St. Friends and well wishers are invited to view a special presentation and indulge in a cash bar.
