3/9/17 – Renée Marino


Broadway and film star Renée Marino joins Michael and Andrew to discuss her co-starring role as “Roberta” in John Patrick Shanley’s play, “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea” at Theatre 68 in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, CA. She can be seen as Mary Delgado, the wife of Frankie Valli- in the film “Jersey Boys” directed by Clint Eastwood. She was featured in People.com’s, “Ones To Watch”, Variety, and highlighted in the Huffington Post’s review of the film stating, “The Broadway star-who is basically Tina Fey’s doppleganger-is a scene stealer, spouting swears and put-downs with aplomb. ‘Jersey Boys’ pops whenever she’s onscreen”. Renée also played Mary Delgado in the Broadway musical of “Jersey Boys”, in addition to her other Broadway credits: “West Side Story” Revival as Rosalia, “Chaplin” and “Wonderland”.

She began her professional career seeing the country and beyond on the 25th Anniversary Tour of “Cats” and the National Tours of “Disney’s High School Musical” and “Jersey Boys”. Renée guest starred on Fox’s comedy, “Weird Loners” as Regina, and has been utilizing her theatre chops here in Los Angeles playing Lola in “Damn Yankees” at Cabrillo Music Theatre, and the iconic Carmen Miranda in the Los Angeles Premiere of “I Only Have Eyes for You” at The Montalban Theatre. She is a proud graduate of Wagner College where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre/Speech, and is a member of SHARE, Inc. here in Los Angeles.
