♦ Eclipsed by the highly-publicized Jian Ghomeshi trial, one York University student — whose own sexual assault trial took place on the very same day at Toronto’s City Hall — has found a voice to tell her story in Toronto filmmaker Kelly Showker. Showker’s upcoming documentary, entitled Slut or Nut: The Diary of a Rape Trial, is unique in that it was produced with an all-female crew, many of whom are also survivors of sexual assault.  READ MORE
